Recognition of Prior Learning

If you have completed other qualifications, or have experience, knowledge, and skills acquired through informal learning or previous employment, you may be eligible for recognition of prior learning (RPL) or credit transfer (CT).

Important information:

• Credit Transfers involve providing evidence of award of the same Unit of Competency code (eg, HLTWHS004).  
• RPL assessments can take a significant amount of time for both the student and the assessor. KSA are committed to supporting students to receive recognition of existing skills and knowledge.
• Where applicable, KSA's assessor may suggest GAP TRAINING. This involves the student supplying some evidence of current skills, knowledge and qualifications, and KSA determining any additional training or assessment required.
• Students are not automatically entitled to a discount on course fees when choosing the RPL pathway. If the student is eligible for discounted fees, the discount is only applied after successful completion of the RPL assessment.
• Review the details of each Unit of competency offered in KSA's HLT52415 Diploma of Kinesiology below and make a list of the relevant training and job roles you can use as part of your RPL application.
