frequently asked questions
Yes! This is a big investment, and you need to be sure you like what we teach. Book a personal consultation with Susan, Megan or any of our graduates. Contact us to find a graduate near you! If you have experienced a PKP style kinesiology session somewhere else, that is a good indication of what you will be learning.
Yes and No.
Yes - We have adapted much of the program to support online learning for those who prefer to learn at home at their own pace. When you learn from home, you can learn the theory and the step-by-step processes required. The current course outline includes regular online classes and we have created useful training tutorials to match the practical skills taught in the program. You can use the tutorials to get prepared for your next face to face workshop or practical assessment. Afterwards the tutorials are a great reminder of what you learned in class.
No - You cannot learn 100% online. Kinesiology is a practical skill. When you learn from home, you don't get to experience the personal healing and techniques from your fellow students or your teacher. To learn the physical and energetic nuances involved with muscle testing, you must experience the techniques yourself. A true healer has journeyed and experienced the healing they gift to others. This program has been designed to maximise our time together in the classroom. Each time you attend the face to face classes, you will take home another pearl of wisdom and dive a little bit deeper into your own personal journey. Students often feedback that attending class is the highlight of their week/month/term.
Practical assessments in other states may be possible for future intakes. Email admin@kinesiologyschoolsaustralia.com.au to register your interest for face to face classes in your state..
Yes, you can, but we prefer you to commit from the get go. We have an annual enrolment fee of $435 regardless of how many weeks you do. The learning environment we set up is quite different to what you may remember at school. You have lots of opportunities to ask questions and to share your story, so you feel heard and valued as a person. In the classroom we do lots of practical demonstrations to give you confidence to try for yourself and we give you time in class to experience AND practice the techniques. Students love coming to our classes because they go home excited about having experienced a new form of healing and understanding themselves better.

Once you are registered you can begin working as a practitioner with your clients earning as you as you continue learning the Diploma.
Studying kinesiology is a true learning journey not just in kinesiology skills and techniques but also in personal growth, and this takes time. The course is divided up into Modules to allow you to work through the assessment tasks in a sequential manner. Students who are completely up to date with their assessment tasks may request early release of self paced learning materials.
Yes, you can still do the full program, although student's are required to work with 3 clients every week during the Diploma.
Whilst there are currently no government licensing requirements for kinesiologists in Australia, we strongly recommend that you link in with a reputable industry body for kinesiology. The first year of the Diploma is accredited as 'Level 4 Intermediate Practitioner' with the Australian Kinesiology Association (AKA). This means you can gain professional insurance and confidently promote yourself as a professional practitioner. Once completed, the HLT52415 Diploma of Kinesiology qualifies you as Level 5 Kinesiology Practitioner with the AKA.
As a Diploma qualified kinesiology practitioner, you will a broad range of skills enabling you to work with your clients from a physical perspective, as well as supporting emotional, mental, and spiritual health and wellbeing. It is not necessary to have any other qualifications to succeed. Many kinesiologists choose to work their clinics part-time or to blend with existing skills.
Both Susan and Megan both work with massage in their clinics, but kinesiology is the basis of their work and their passion. KSA hopes to add a massage qualification to our courses offered in the future.
